The objective of the Santa Rosa Hydroelectric Project was the generation of renewable electricity to be supplied to the National Interconnected Electric Grid (“SEIN”). This was done through three small run-of-river hydropower plants located in Lima, Peru in the Santa Rosa Irrigation in the Sayan District. The project supplied electricity to the SEIN by connecting to the 22.9 KV transmission line that belongs to the privately-owned energy distributor for the north of Lima.
